From 3.6million Followers To Just 8 Followers

Kim Kardashian-West was a victim of yesterday’s Instagram Rapture, she also emerged from the purge with an impressive new title: the most-followed Insta-celeb.

In the photos/videos sharing website effort to delete inactive accounts, many users saw a drop in their follower count, including Kim Kardashian.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashian’ star, who recently tried to break the Internet with her N*de shoot on Paper Magazine, lost 1.3 million of her 23 million Instagram followers.

Well.. She still has more followers than Justin Bieber, who loss more than 3.5 million of his 23 million Instagram followers.

Kim and Justin weren’t the only celebrities to see a major drop. Ariana Grande was hit hard, losing 1.5 million of her 21 million followers, and Beyoncé lost more than 800,000 of her 22 million followers.
 
Instagram’s Instagram accounts lost the most number of followers, which amounted to about a third of its followers but the account that lost the highest percentage of followers was chiragchirag78, formerly the 97th most followed account that lost a whooping 99.9% of its followers from 3.6 million to just 8.

Celebrities like Nicki Minaj & Andy Cohen didn’t mind seeing their follower count drop.
