The 2016 edition of the MTV MAMAs might have come and gone but the fine details of the event remain a part of our pop culture discourses and will stay just like that for a good more number of days, from all indications.

You see, Africa simply stood up for this year’s edition of the annual awards show which held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Johannesburg, South Africa for several reasons.

It was lit to extreme levels.

The ladies were spot on, their red carpet outfits and dispositions so impressive and fitting like hand in glove.

And on the part of the organizers and crew at MTV Africa it was many shades of professionalism and precision.
