LAURYN HILL DISGRACED
RIGHT ON STAGE
Veteran singer Lauryn Hill was disgraced on stage in New Orleans right after arriving 45 mins late for her stage performance at Voodoo Experience Music Festival yesterday 3rd Nov.
According to reports, it was the 2nd time Lauryn Hill's being late for the concert and when her scheduled time expired the microphone was abruptly turned off.
Times-Picayune said she was finishing her hit song ''Ready or Not'' when her microphone was turned off and Michael Jackson's Billie Jean came on to save the day but unfortunately she kept gesturing, singing and lurking around the stage until the lights were dimmed on her.
The veteran singer had previously been giving a chance to perform at the event in which she arrived 45 minutes later than expected as usual. The organizers later gave her another appearance in the Final Hours of Saturday at the festival's smallest stage, which she again started late, but this time she was allowed to continue singing even after the festival's closing time -11 p.m.
