STARBOY & ACHIEVAS MUSIC ARE AFTER EMEKUS OF PROJECT FAME
Just few weeks after the end of the music reality TV show Project Fame, one the contestant who made the 7th edition a fantastic show because of his talent and amazing performance is now in the middle of a big battle between record labels.
Emeka Nelson, popularly known as Emekus, is in a big dilemma as sources close to the third runner up of Project Fame said he is being lured to join Wizkid’s Starboy record or Achievas Music which is home to Solidstar and the Cameroonian, Xcellente.
Wizkid is said to have sat down with Emekus and the two have been spotted together publicly and for what looks like he might be joining L.A.X at Starboy, we also have reports that Emekus has been seen in Festac with the Achievas team, he has met with them a few times with his manager.
No doubt that Emekus is a young prospect for the Nigerian music industry and the streets. No wonder Achievas Music boss, Ossy Cole and Wizkid are going head-to-head to sign him.
Naija MP3s got in touch with his manager, Segun Salami who did not give details about the meetings with Achievas Music and Starboy but said:
“Emekus is focusing on recording songs and his fans should expect his first single 'Love U Pieces' which is been produced by LeriQ”.
When asked if Aristokrat records are looking to sign him, he was quick to answer, saying 'No', adding that LeriQ loved the song when he performed it on Project Fame and wanted to produce the song.
