Brazil legend Carlos Alberto dies at 72

Brazilian football legend Carlos Alberto has died aged 72, according to media reports.

Alberto, who captained Brazil to victory at the 1970 World Cup, reportedly died after suffering a heart attack.
Considered one of the greatest defenders of all time, Alberto scored what is arguably the best World Cup goal in Brazil’s 4-1 victory over Italy in the final of the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.
He was capped 53 times for Brazil, scoring eight goals.
Until his death, he was a sports commentator for Brazilian channel Sportv.
